It starts at Sunken Meadow State Park. Directions on their website say: Forty-six miles from Manhattan on the northern terminus of Sunken Meadow/Sagtikus Parkway. LI Expressway exit 53.

I have a map of LI trails and it shows the LI Greenbelt trail beginning in King’s Park, but how do I get there? (car and road-wise)

I 100% agree! I’m looking right now, as I recently discovered I live right around the corner from the Plainview entrance, and all I can find is $8.00 maps!

I thought it was awful that they had that cow at the oysterfest. It reminded me of the old sideshow carnival days and the poor thing looked dreadful. I hope they take good care of it when its not being paraded around fairs. Does anyone know who owns it? Or how to find out?
